The Everleigh Social Club is a private arts club whose members are an intriguing mix of artists from many disciplines*. Consider it a cross between the decades old arts clubs like the Cliff Dwellers and the Tavern Club (RIP) and exclusive night clubs like Playboy or the Gaslight. We celebrate the gift of art and its value to living a decadent, sensual life of freedom.
But not just any art. We are strong supporters of the “Beautiful Life” and the endeavors of the burgeoning artistic movement of “Cyprianism“. Sensual, beautiful, erotically-infused…a life lived artfully. Ritual, history and mastery inform our exciting future. The Everleigh Social Club is a bordello for the arts.
…definitely not your father’s private club
What does that mean for you? Well, this is definitely not your father’s private club. Our robust schedule of parties, social gatherings, theatrical productions, salons, performances, lectures, master classes, decadent soirées, movies and other opulent events are all guided by century-old principles given to us by the Everleigh Sisters, purveyors of the “Beautiful Life” in Chicago from 1900-1911 when they ran their exquisite “Everleigh Club” at 2133 S. Dearborn.
And as the geographical home of Cyprianism (an artistic movement based on the rituals and beliefs of a society of artists and courtesans throughout history), you can guarantee an arousing good time like no other place on earth.
…decadent, ribald, improper
We welcome all those who are involved in the arts or appreciate the arts as an important part of their life. Our ranks include decadent artists, ribald art enthusiasts and other improper folk. We have a network of galleries and like-minded libertines, but our brick and mortar clubhouse is in Chicago’s West Loop, in the new extension of the Studio L’amour building on Randolph and Sangamon.

Special note to photographers – For the discretion and protection of our members, photos are not allowed at the Everleigh Social Club except in special cases and certain events.
