Dearest members and friends,
For the last four years, the Everleigh Social Club has strived to be Chicago’s center for sensuality. Some of the most amazing moments we have had with you all have occurred within those walls. We are proud of what we have achieved and those of you who we have drawn close to us. Michelle and I have been dreaming hard for the last few months about the next steps and where we can take what we’ve learned since 2010. An incredible amount went into our thought process and we agonized about many things while remaining optimistic that we have more to offer in this arena. As it turns out, we feel that the best way to continue to serve the needs of the community we have helped to forge is to shift the focus of the Everleigh away from an actual space and more toward special events and experiences – to spread out, so to speak. To that end, we will be closing the third floor clubhouse of the Everleigh Social Club in January of 2015.
The good news is that this will allow us to focus on providing an even better curated handful of moments across 2015 and put more time and resources into those specific things. We are confident that this is the best way to serve the current (and future) membership.
Our last big event in the space will be our annual New Year’s Eve party – “Upstairs at the Everleigh” and we are going to blow the roof off. This Black Tie and Lingerie soiree will be even better than the legendary parties we’ve thrown in the past. We are pulling out all the stops. As usual, there will be an open wine bar, hors d’oeuvres and a champagne toast at midnight with our lovely coterie of naked girls. Plus, we’re bringing back our stellar DJ and adding some incredibly scandalous performances from national acts that we will announce soon. And here’s something to sweeten the deal: Michelle and I have obtained two decanters that were once owned by famed Chicago brothel keeper Ada Everleigh (for whom our club was named) and for the first hour of the event, we will personally be pouring a specially formulated punch from them for your enjoyment. Talk about spirits! There is no other party on the planet that will be doing this. No where else.

I know that some of you will have questions about the future plans for the Everleigh Social Club and I will be happy to answer them. I’ll have more information in the coming days and then open up a dialog for those inquiries.
Again, we have had the time of our lives over the last four years providing a clubhouse for our special brand of sensuality and we are excited as ever for what comes next.
